يعتبر مؤشر سهيل "المرحلة الأولى" أداة احصائية يمكن استخدامها لمعرفة أسعار الأراضي والتداولات العقارية لجميع المناطق في دولة الكويت، إضافة لتقييم الوضع العام للقطاع العقاري في الكويت. وتتم احتساب قيمة المؤشر باستخدام مجموعة من المعادلات المبنية والأوزان النسبية لكل منطقة وأرقام تداولات حقيقية واحصائيات دقيقة يتم تجميعها من خلال عمليات المسح الميداني للسوق العقاري بإدارة مهنية من خلال جهة مستقلة ومحايدة. إضافة الى الاعتماد على البيانات والاحصائيات العقارية والاقتصادية من جهات رسمية تساعد في إعطاء نظرة شاملة عن أداء القطاع العقاري الكويتي .

ونهدف من خلال إطلاق أول مؤشر لأسعار الأراضي والصفقات العقارية في الكويت، المساهمة في تأسيس الشفافية في القطاع العقاري وتوفير معلومات تساهم وتساعد المتداولين في اتخاذ القرارات العقارية المناسبة. والهدف الأسمى لمؤشر سهيل هو توفير مؤشرات احصائية محايدة تقيس أداء السوق العقاري في الكويت وسد ثغرة قاعدة البيانات والمساهمة في جعل السوق العقاري أكثر كفاءة ورفع مستوى الشفافية العقارية في الكويت .

Suhail Index is a statistical tool that can be used to determine land prices and real estate transactions for all regions in Kuwait, in addition to assessing the general situation of the real estate sector in Kuwait. The value of the index is calculated using a set of built-in equations, relative weights for each region, real trade figures and accurate statistics collected through field surveys of the real estate market by a professional management through an independent and impartial body. In addition to relying on real estate and economic data and statistics from official bodies that help give a comprehensive overview of the performance of the Kuwaiti real estate sector .

With the launch of the first land price index and real estate transactions in Kuwait, we aim to contribute to the establishment of transparency in the real estate sector and to provide information that will contribute and help traders to make the appropriate property decisions. The ultimate goal of the Suhail Index is to provide neutral statistical indicators that measure the performance of the real estate market in Kuwait and fill the gap in the database and contribute to make the real estate market more efficient and raise the level of transparency in Kuwait .
